Misleading selection when switching back from Fusion page

PostFri Dec 18, 2020 4:28 am

I have several clips in series on a timeline (1 video track). Some of the clips have brief fusion components (a paint node inserted). The clips have various zoom/pan positions.

In the Edit page, I move the timeline marker over a clip. I click to select the clip. I click the Fusion page. I view the node tree with paint node. I click to return to the Edit page. At this point, the clip still shows as selected (including its linked audio)... HOWEVER, the inspector is NOT showing the correct values. It is showing default 1.0 zoom for example. If I click on the clip, THEN the correct inspector values show.

Either the inspector, or the timeline highlight, appears to have a bug on return from Fusion to Edit.

Addendum:
After clicking to select the clip and see the correct Inspector nodes, I switch applications to web browser.
DR is busy caching the fusion in my project. After more than a few seconds (because then things are fine) but within 2 minutes - when I switched back to the DR application the inspector is wrong AGAIN. And I haven't even changed away from the Edit page.

Somehow the selection is being lost (including inspector update) even when the clip is still highlighted on the command line and I have not clicked in the interface at all. Wierd!

I am using DR in fullscreen, 2 monitor mode.
