Hi folks

I am hoping a Linux Studio user can please confirm to me that Studio imports my .mov file from my Nikon D850 as I have the supplier in South Africa holding on to his last unit of stock for me until I can confirm that Studio does indeed import my files.

I have a short .mov file here if someone please can test and confirm for me

Many thanks in advance.

I can confirm file plays fine on Resolve Studio 16 and 17 under Linux.

Hey,

Linux version still don't support AAC audio codec of your mov files.

Since the resolve 17 the *.mp3 files can be imported, then sometime you'll need to transcode the aac to wav (or mp3) to import the audio format of your mov files. (ex from smartphone).

Still missing free formats vp9 and opus (youtube 4K dump) ;)

Nikon .mov files use 16-bit PCM audio, not AAC. They're fine.
