Help with extend edit to playhead shortcut

PostFri Dec 18, 2020 11:16 am

Does anyone know of a way to do something like extend next / previous edit to playhead, like in Premiere or Avid?
I want to extend the next or previous clip to the playhead with a shortcut, not the clip the playhead is on.
I find it incredible that to do this, I have to select the edit point, also losing the position of the playhead, having to look for it again to extend the clip.
They are 5 or 6 keys in Davinci against 1 in Premiere.

Thanks for the answers.

Select the edit point you want to move and hit E.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Thanks for de answer, but I don't want to have to use the mouse, or use additional keys to select the cut, I want a shortcut that directly extends the next cut to the playhead.

It's one of those small but crucial deficiencies still present in Resolve. Add it to the requested features thread above.
