Field handling in 17
Hello,
Since we have moved into lockdown again i set up camp at my home system and gave Resolve 17 beta 5 another go.
And i have trouble getting the project to use 1080i and field rendering as it was in 16.
I can either use "interlace processing" and it changes the project to 50 fps or i can leave it off and the fields are being truncated it seems.
Also when using the interlace option the render dialog changes when using DNxHD 1080i and offers upper or lower field, but on 24 it will now.
That seems like a step forward and two steps back somehow.
When using the 50 option the resulting video plays double speed
I might just be confused , has anyone a proper guideline as of now i find it rather convoluted
And what s up with locking the project / timeline framerate when media has been loaded in ?
That is a 6 year old request to finally be able to adjust that afterward...
It is simply impractical and let to hour and hour of color tracing setting up a new project with a different frame rate
