Keyframe navigation bug in 17 Public Beta 5

PostSat Dec 19, 2020 3:17 pm

I am getting an intermittent navigation failure between keyframes in 17 Public Beta 5 in the Inspector.

After a while clicking on the right/left arrows simply stops working until I restart the app.

Also, I would really like to use keyboard shortcuts to move between keyframes. Mousing around takes too long.

Also, I have been adding motion to clips with transitions. I know I am probably doing it wrong, but the timeline keyframe behavior puzzles me.

If I select a clip and go to the start of the begging transition into the clip and add keyframes, then I want change position, zoom, etc at the end of the clip after its out transition, I have to put the cursor at the beginning of the ending transition, change the parameters to add ending keyframes, then go to the end of the transition out of the clip, add keyframes, and then jump back and delete the previous keyframes. I cannot see all of the active keyframes at once under the clip, so I have to move them one at a time and then I cannot always move the keyframe to the beginning or end of a clip with using the long way listed above.

Please, make this easier. If I have active keyframes on a clip, I want to see them all under the clip and I would like to be able to use the keyboard to navigate between keyframes to make changes.

Thanks, from a long time editor, relative Resolve newby.

[ and ] are the keyboard shortcuts.

Add the Alt modifier for the Fusion page.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
