Automating BrightnessContrast

PostSun Dec 20, 2020 2:52 am

Hello all--

This may be really obvious, but I am not able to find a way to automate changing the controls in the BrightnessContrast Inspector of a clip, and couldn't find anything in the manual. Can anyone point me in the proper direction? Thanks!

Those things are done manually. And typically on the Color page.

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Are you using beta 17? They exist in the new inspector, but only for RAW sources.

No, I'm not on 17 yet. I use 16.2.5... I'm a bit "shy" about doing beta. Thanks for the tip though!

But when you write automating, do you mean changing over time?
You can do that with all the other controls in the Grading page by keyframing, but not with those in the RAW tab.
