Problems after upgrading to 16.2.8.005

Quick export previously rendered at around 70fps and finish pretty quickly. After updating, it's now rendering around 10fps. It doesn't seem to affect the resulting video, it just takes ages longer to render than before.
Perhaps this is another setting changed by the update? I'm not a professional editor, I use the free version of DaVinci Resolve for fun personal projects and YouTube videos, so I'm not very savvy with this editing software.
Also, the preview (Timeline 1) window under the edit tab stutters and lags so badly, it's useless. Even after I tick "show all frames."
This never happened with the previous version of Resolve. I'm running Windows 10 and everything is current with the OS, drivers, etc.
