Hi everyone.
I'm using Resolve Studio 17b5 on a Windows 10 machine with a Ryzen 5, RX5700, 16GB RAM, Crucial MX500 SSD.
I have this problem where I have to wait about two minutes for imported clips to be viewable (and editable); the issue extends to other aspects of the program like the first time I open the color tab (at least a couple of minutes before any of the changes I make to the color wheels have any effect) and also the first time I load an effect to a clip (like the OFX ones). I've been trying to solve this with customer support but it's been a month and we still haven't been able to figure out the problem, so I thought about asking to the community.
What I have tried: fresh install of Windows 10 (BIOS and all drivers are updated), fresh install of Resolve, benchmarked the SSD and it performs as expected.
Almost every action I try to do that "loads" something takes ages, but once the clips are in my media pool everything runs smoothly (until I try the color tab and/or the FX).
Do you guys have any idea on what might be causing the issue?
