clone tool - corrupted file

Hi!

I have a serious problem. Shot an interview on BMP6K on Samsung T5 drive. Out of 4 files 1 seems to be corrupted. I cant open it with Blackmagic RAW player and it doesn't show up in Media window on Resolve. I used Resolve's clone tool to copy the footage off the drive and it showed that the job is done, no errors.

It's a huge file - 320gb.

Any help appreciated!

I'm not aware of any repair tools for BRAW files.

If the T5 hasn't been reformatted yet, maybe try the following with Verification enabled.

If the files are still on it, try to play the clip in the camera. If it works, there may have been a hiccup in the reader.

Unfortunately I had to format the drive to continue the shooting.

I'm wonder what can be done so such problems could be fixed / avoided in the future? Shooting in prores, since it's more common format and perhaps easier to fix the corrupted file?

I wouldn't choose that route. I like the freedom RAW brings.

Get more cards is a first step. Dumping cards anywhere but in the studio is something I work very hard to avoid.
