Odd Behaviour in Project Manager?? Can scrub videos??

Not a major thing or impacting on ops, just odd.(at least to me)
Doing it on two PCs running identical versions/updates of Win10 (2020)
One PC has Studio, other runs free version Both are V16 same updates
Main diff between PCs is one has MSI RTX2080 Ii 11GB triple fan gpu, 32GB mobo ram other has GTX1650S 8GB gpu with 16GB mobo ram, both i7 4 core cpu's, ASUS mobos : Z270AR and P8Z77

In Project Mngr on some projects , but not all, displayed projects that I select and on moving the mouse sideways (scrubbing it) I get a white vertical line on all of them which moves with the mouse, but only a few actually will run the video, not completely, but almost as if in same action in Media page

In the smaller PC I get video jumping in quarters to the end...4 scenes

In the bigger PC I get only the beginnings and ends of the video, 2 scenes with the white line as before
Would be nice if you could actually scrub view through the whole videos in the Proj Mngr this way ?
I've just started to notice this , think it wasn't there before
I have several databases and when each selected does the same for all
Is this a friendly, pet bug or should it be a normal working feature of Resolve that's not fully working for me?
But it would be really cute to have this working fully , save a bit of time

Latest, November Windows update gives a lot of headaches to many people all over the world. So, if it's starts suddenly it might be bugs on the Window's side..
Also try to install (reinstall) latest nVidia drivers. Or, maybe even try with some older drivers.

I've never had those thumbnails work properly 100% of the time, since version 12.

For me, it worked all the time perfectly. Never had a single glitch. There was situations when tumbnail shows unlinked media and source screen shows picture normally, but I never experienced the thing mentioned above. I'm using Resolve since version 12, too.

"georgekg": Didn't really notice it before, just clicked the thumbnail in Proj Mngr and 1st noticed video framings when the mouse slipped on me. Win10: Yes, I lost my licensed DVRS when 2020 first installed...it ran OK until I tried a sys image backup , which then could not find my (new) sys image disk , then proceeded to destroy both the boot record and its back up directory on C drive....would not restore from Msoft opsys disk so had to re-install from older sys image drive , but then DVRS lost its licence key and i had to re apply the dist. key again,. Meant I had now reached my two licence limit which is why the other PC is running free version only....had upgraded it with new Gtx card ($420 over here) to run Studio for a college release Graph Arts student trainee to learn DVRS , so was a bit annoyed she only had the free version to learn on after spending money...good kid too. Her lap top wont do what she needs
NVIDEA drivers: Though selecting the Studio driver download both MSI and Nvidea sites download the games version regardless of repeated attempts.(same for GTX and RTX cards) Its 457.xx and I see 458.xx is released
Has anyone been able to download just the studio versions of this driver ?
Could the Project Mngr video thumbnails effect i'me having be due to not having the studio version??
Tried to d/load the 458 version last night, but again it only gives me the games version.
But uninstalled it as my DVRS seems to be working OK on that older (games( driver??.(if it aint broke, don't fix it??)
Comments on best driver versions for MSI RTX2080Ti and MSI Gtx for DVRS appreciated.

You can activate the license again as long as you have the activation key. No need to run the free version.
