Some details about fonts on Linux. It seems that Resolve uses at least two different
methods to search fonts. Simply may be checked on Titles Text and Text+.
Text title: uses fontconfig
Text+ and Fussion: hard coded to /usr/share/fonts subdirectories
If you can see font in Text and not in Text+ title:
- check if font is placed in /usr/share/fonts
If you can see font in Text+ and not in Text title:
- check if font is available with fc-list
- if not, font may be rejected check ~/.config/fontconfig/conf.d and/or /etc/fonts/conf.avail
Preview of working places for both titles.
- Code: Select all
dir Text Text+
/usr/share/fonts ok ok
/usr/share/fonts/sample ok ok
/usr/local/share/fonts ok no
~/.fonts ok no
~/.local/share/fonts ok no
