Resolve does not correctly identify monitors

PostMon Dec 21, 2020 7:35 pm

Beta 6 - Windows 10 64GB - Ryzen 7-2700 - Radeon RX 580.

I have three 4K monitors in front of me. From left to right they are numbered 1,2,3 by Windows.

I have monitor two set in Windows as my main display.

My desired DR layout is to have my primary display set to monitor two
My secondary display set to monitor 3
My clean feed set to monitor 1

So I set primary to monitor 2
Secondary to monitor 3

As soon as I go Workspace->Full Screen Window, the primary window moves to monitor 1. The secondary display stays, as it should on monitor 3.

If I remove full screen mode and drag the primary display to monitor 2 and try to set clean feed to monitor 1, monitor 1 is grayed out.

If I try to set clean feed to monitor 1, it shows up on monitor 2 and obscures the primary display.
If I click away from monitor two, monitor 2 then displays the primary display, but if I click anywhere on monitor 2, monitor 2 them displays the clean feed.

I should also mention that on startup, the splash screen displays on monitor 2 but the projects window shows on monitor 1 and the primary display shows on monitor 1.

It seems that DR wants to use monitor 1 as the primary display rather than allowing the primary display to be placed on the monitor of my choice.

I know this sounds confusing. Its also very confusing trying to make things work. I'll be happy to help solve this if I can.
