I have been trying to create a .deb installable using MakeResolveDebMulti 1.4.3 on DVR 16.2.8 ..run all on a newly installed Debian 10.1 system.
When trying to do this in Plasma,
# ./makeresolvedeb_1.4.3_multi.sh DaVinci_Resolve_16.2.8_Linux.run
produced an error something about unknown KDE directories.
When done on GNOME,
# ./makeresolvedeb_1.4.3_multi.sh DaVinci_Resolve_16.2.8_Linux.run
the error obtained is
Using Resolve 16 conversion process
Extracting archive
Qt: Session management error: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported
[ERROR] Failed to extract DaVinci Resolve archive
Could someone please advise what might be going on here?
(I have this version running on on CENTOS 8 but I would like to get this running on DEBIAN as well as a proof of concept.).
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
