scrubbing around clip

PostTue Dec 22, 2020 11:01 am

Hi,

I'm slowing getting used to using davinci but there's still some basic things I don't know how to do and have been kind of working around.

In the edit tab, when I have a clip in the left window I am working on to put into my timeline, let's say i mark an in and out point. Now if I move the position of the marker how do I move it back to my inpoint or outpoint? The double arrows below the clip just jump from start to finish and ignore the parts I have marked and none of the other buttons seem to allow me to move to my in and out points.

I and O will set the points.

Shift+I and Shift+O will navigate to them.

Basic things like this are well covered in the Beginner's Guide. I recommend doing that before working on any real projects. It's very helpful. ;)
