BRAW file doesn't play?

PostTue Dec 22, 2020 4:15 pm

Hi there,

I just created a copy of a 90 GB BRAW file and deleted the original file, but then the copy didn't work. When I open it, it's just a blackscreen with no time bar and no sound. I also can't import it into DaVinci Resolve and now all my footage is shown as "Media Offline". I really need this file and I'm losing my mind here. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do, I'd highly appreciate it.

Cheers.

Having the same issue. The file will not show in the Braw reader or Resolve 16/17. It happened on the pocket 6K and 4K cameras at the same time, even though it played back on the camera (multi camera shoot.) Copying the file back to the card doesn't help. Something is on the card but nothing is showing. And this sucks.

Have you tried 16b3? What 17 version did you try?

What type of computer are you on? What OS?
