(newbie trouble) Image anchor extremely far away

PostTue Dec 22, 2020 6:27 pm

Hey everyone, I'm very new to editing and while putting together a video I was suddenly faced with my images and clips behaving strangely in trying to move them; and I think the problem is that the image anchor (I believe that's what it is) is located far, far off screen, and I can't find a way to fix it. The image attached shows an example of what I'm talking about. Image

Any help fixing this would be great, I'm kind of stuck in being unable to precisely move or edit anything with the anchor like this.

Hold down ALT. You should be able to grab anywhere.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
