Exporting synced audio when rendering individual clips?

PostTue Dec 22, 2020 11:27 pm

I'm trying to export a set of clips with synced 2nd system audio for preview. It's for a documentary project, and I'm trying to get send the footage in the forms of individual clips to the client so that the client can help with deciding what bits of the interview footage to use for their story.

The sync by audio part worked pretty well, but the audio in the rendered clips was terrible... after some tweaking I realized it's because the rendered audio is the on-camera scratch track and not the production audio. Rendering the whole thing as a single clip works as expected, but it's less than ideal for the task.

Is there a way to include production audio and render individual clips?

Thanks!

There's no simple way.

You can either turn each clip into a Compound, or use Single file export mode and set In/Out points for each clip.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Hm... neither is a good solution. Sigh... so much for using Resolve for dailies. :(
