Fairlight BUG - Clips vanish when moving them to othe tracks

PostWed Dec 23, 2020 3:29 am

I'm using Resolve Beta 17.08 Build 18 on a Mac Pro running Catalina 10.15.7.

I'm experiencing a very weird bug: I'm trying to organize dialogue clips by shift dragging them to other tracks.
Often when I shift drag, and let go on the target track, the clip vanishes.

Undo doesn't bring it back either.

The source and destination tracks are mono and unlocked. The dialogue track is unlinked ad snapping is off. It doesn't happen every time but enough that it makes me not want top use Fairlight for this as, obviously missing tracks are not good.

The project, itself is brand new. In fact I made a new project and imported an AFF timeline. All that's in it is the video guide track and about 70 dialogue tracks (its a musical). It seemed to populate all the tracks with the original clips properly.

The issue started when I started to organize.

Any idea or suggestions?

Thanks

Does cutting the source Clip (Command + X) and then pasting (Command + V) to the destination Track behave in the same manner or is this behaviour only present with a drag action?
