Speed revamp controls are not accurate

PostWed Dec 23, 2020 11:45 am

The defaults 110, 150, 200, 400 and 800.

If you select one of them and try to drag it, it chooses weird random numbers such as 511 and goes up in multiples of whatever random thing it wants like 38.

This is a pain for trying to change part of a clip to 500% with the retime controls since it's pretty much impossible

I need to use this to get the curve in between the frames as well so splitting it isn't the way around it

Anyone know if there is a way and I'm just being stupid here? I know I can zoom in on the curve and tweak it very finely, but it just seems like there should be an easy way to do this and a weird thing to overlook

I asked this before but no one really had an answer so just seeing if anyone knows any different this time. Thanks!

I believe those 'random' values are based on the frame rate of the clip. You may not be able to get exactly 500%.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
