17b6 Proxy problem with anamorphic widescreen

We used anamorphic widescreen to shoot R3D, 17b6 has automatically recognized the 2.4 aspect ratio.
But the generated Proxy media is based on the source resolution and is not displayed correctly

...I have the same problem.
@BM-team, can you confirm this issue?
Or is there something we are missing during the proxy-workflow? Then please give us a hint.

...and I just found out what might be the reason:
The "Clip Attributes" settings such as "pixel aspect ratio" do not apply when proxy media is used!
You can test this also with the "image filp" attributes. They are not applied on the proxy media!
--> Is it a beta-bug or a feature?

Hi all,
Having the same issue for my feature edit. Clip attributes of OCF don't connect to generated proxies so my anamorphic desqueeze doesn't work for proxies.
I can't update to Beta 7, but has anyone tried to se if this issue is in B7?
