I guys.
I've been a premiere user ever since final cut 7 phased out. However, I'm noticing that GPU acceleration is practically useless in premiere. I downloaded the free version of resolve and while it utilizes GPU, the playback is very slow on all red raw files(4k-8k) in all proxy resolutions. I am using a MacBook pro 5600m(best GPU) with 64gb ram. Will the studio version make a difference? Is the GPU acceleration more effective for rd3 files? Let me know. Thanks.
