Hi folks,

Am i right in thinking you can't simply use right-click > change speed option on a Fusion comp, and then see the "retime & scaling" menu on the right hand side?

If so, what is the workflow to achieve to that? Obviously i can just render the Fusion comp out and then re-import it. And i guess i can also do some re-timing inside Fusion, but i really need that Optical Flow / Speed Warp effect.

Just looking for the most efficient workflow to achieve this.............. Thanks!

That would be my approach.

Since Fusion also has optical flow that shouldn't be a problem.
Or if it's about the retiming of your footage, then you can first retime the footage and then make it a compound clip and then take it into the Fusion page. If I remember correctly, doing it this way will 'feed' Fusion the footage with effects (grading etc) applied.

The only issue with this is that the compound clip will be set at project resolution. If the source media resolution is higher this may not be ideal. It all depends on the specifics.

Yes, optical flow in Fusion is a little better quality than the Resolve's optical flow, but it's also way slower,

To the OP: you actually can render a Fusion comp. Just add a saver inside the Fusion and "render all savers."
