Exporting .PNG screenshot with transparency / alpha channel

PostWed Dec 23, 2020 9:46 pm

Hello!

I have been searching in the forums and taking a deep look to this thing but I cannot get it.
My final step to divorce Premiere, after purchasing Resolve license, is saving screenshots in .png format (or similar) with transparency / alpha created by chroma key.

I mean, in color tab, after removing green screen and getting that video layer with the transparency I desire, I would like to have it in a screenshot too, but every option I select gets black screen stead of alpha.

Is there any option for that? If not, it would be a time saver if you need a screenshot. I used that option a lot in Premiere.

Until the day I learn that option on Resolve, I'm using Photoshop.

Thank you in advance!

I never need alpha channels. (Or screen shots, really.)
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
