Hi all,
i am trying to get resolve work again.
After a system upgrade on Archlinux, resolve does not start anymore.

Installed OpenCL drivers: opencl-nvidia
Presented GPUs: GP106 [GeForce GTX 1060 6GB] driver: nvidia

when i start i get the spalshscreen and then the window to report error. Unfortunately it does not work, since it says the network connection does not work...ok...i am writing from that pc.

so starting resolve it crashes and produces a dump.

Looking into the rollinglog.txt file i find the following text:

I am not able to understand what's going wrong here.
is there anything i can look into?

Would you suggest to upgrade to 16? i am only scared about the existing projects, since i don't actually know how to flowlessly import them without starting the existing resolve.

Any help would be very appreciated.

thanks for the clarification.
I am not able to do anything from the help menu, since i am not able to start the application.
I read the link you pointed and I hope to have produced properly everything.

You are not running NVIDIA renderer. Try to run the script with prime-run or other method for optimus, otherwise you could not use DaVinci Resolve


it is not clear why i got that error message.
