17B(5 & 6):Planar Tracker Locks UP DR When

Windows 10
Quadro P5200: 452.06

I have a scene with stationary camera, 7 frames long. I am using the Planar Tracker to replace part of a wall. I do not need tracking information since nothing moves, but that is not the point, this still appears to be a bug. I set up 4 points on the corners of a TV and click 'Track to End'. DR just sits. If I try to do anyting it warns about canceling the render. However, nothing that I do actually cancels the rendor, nor does it do anything else. I can close DR and it even prompts me to save, but DR stays open in the background and I have to force close through Task Manager.

I have had this work, same setup once, and when it did, it took less than a second as you would expect, I have had it fail ~ 10 times now, so fairly reproducible.

In the Task Manager, DR is using less than ~ 0.2% CPU, 2GB Ram, 0 disk and 0 GPU.

I too am experiencing the same issue. Except when I cancel the tracking it never stops doing...well...nothing. The video controls remain grey'd out and you are unable to interact with the interface. So I kill the application "menu->davinci Resolve->quit. One would think this would kill all of the processes started with DR; of course you would be incorrect.

When I look at the process table there is DR and all of its DPDecoder.exe's in their conost.exe containers...all doing basically nothing. To see if its because of something hanging, I reboot the computer--No changes. I then shutdown the computer-->wait 60 seconds (or so)-->restart computer-->start DR--No changes.
