Edit index

A few things I'm noticing in the Edit index, not sure if they're bugs, or just how things are.

In the edit index, there's a column named dur. There's no reference to it in the manual, and I would guess that it would be the duration of the clip in the timeline, but for all clips it's blank. Is that a bug? Is there a way to show the duration of a clip on the timeline in the edit index?.

When using "color" in the Edit Index, it's showing the "flags" color not the clip color. I'm not seeing an option to display the clip color.

This is populated when speed effects are applied to Clips.

Open the Additional (3 dots) menu and enable "Show Clips with Speed Effects", and use the Speed Change tool in the Clip Inspector, for example, and changes will be reflected in the "Dur" column of the Edit Index.

Open the Additional (3 dots) menu and select "Show Clip Colours" and select "All" or a specific colour to filter Clips.

thanks Reynaud!

the duration of a clip in frames would be really helpful for VFX workflows. I guess that needs to be a feature request

The Edit Index is a legacy EDL tool. It shows a CMX style EDL list from an imported conform, or a created timeline. As such, it displays only the things that are displayed in a traditional EDL.
DUR will show transition durations and speed changes only, as that is all that is supported in an EDL.
