Subtitles not copied over with the timeline?

I created subtitles for a few clips in "timeline1".
Then I created "timeline2" and dragged "timeline1" as a clip into timeline2.
But the subtitles didn't come over into timeline2?
I had to go back and copy/paste them in manually and also do the styles again.
How can I get the subtitles to also come over with the timeline?
I'm on Resolve 16.2.7.010
