Audio Delaying/Unintentional Doubling

PostThu Dec 24, 2020 5:34 pm

Hello! While working on a 1920x1080 timeline for my workplace (alongside creating four other timelines for teaser trailers, each in 1920x1080, 1080x1080, 1080x1350, and 1080x1920), I came across an issue that was incredibly unique.

While I had not changed the audio whatsoever in any of the timelines, upon rendering, there would be delays, echoes, and pops occurring. Moreover, if I restarted Resolve, or switched to another timeline, let it play, then return to the timeline I was working on, the render would come out as intended. I am not changing any factors of the render other than the name of course, so I am curious as to what may be causing this issue.

I am currently on DaVinci Resolve 17 Version 17.0B Build15 as I have not wanted to update until finished with this project, and specs for my computer are below:

iMac Pro (2017), 2.5 GHz 14-Core Intel Xeon W, 64GB 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM, Radeon Pro Vega 64 16GB GPU, and macOS Catalina version 10.15.7
