My videos become blurry in DaVinci
Hi,
I just started using DaVinci Resolve 16 about 3 months ago. I uploaded couple of videos to YouTube using this editing software. It was looking fine to me until a couple of days ago some of my friends said that the stuff I uploaded to YouTube didn't look great even at 1080p. I thought it was a pixelation problem and it had something to do with the codecs YouTube was letting me use. avc1 to vp9. Well it turns out that was not the issue. Because even when I had the vp9 codec, the videos still looked the same. Then I thought it must be something that I'm doing wrong in the render part of things. Well no. That wasn't it either. Not the frame rate, not the bitrate.. none of those. Then I recorded a new footage (I use the high quality setting on my SONYpj410 handycam) and checked it on my pc. It looked fine on the VLC video player. Then I uploaded the footage to DaVinci Resolve (that I just downloaded the new version of). And the first thing I noticed before even doing any editing on this footage was the blurriness on it that was not there in the first place. So it wasn't any other issue that would cause the footage to be that bad, it was just DaVinci resolve that was doing the harm the whole time. This is my first time asking a question in this forum so I don't know if I can but I will try to add the 2 pictures of the situation so someone can understand it better.
thank you. have beautiful day.
