Advantage of DaVinci Resolve over FCP (Project Backup)

The main advantage of DaVinci Resolve over FCP is that, You can copy and restore DaVinci Archive Project (DRA) folder on another system. But in FCP you cannot move and open consolidated FCP library to other system.
In FCP you need to create new library, where as in DaVinci you just need to relink media files from DRA folder.

I think the main advantage for Resolve is that it runs on the de facto Standard operating system for planet earth - Windows.

And you can finally enjoy Microsoft messing up your drivers behind your back like all others ;-)

I am using MacBook pro for editing and store all my FCP backup on external SSD drive.
When i need to edit FCP backup project, I prefer to copy the entire project on my laptop instead of editing on external Drive.

I move FCP projects between computers on a regular basis. No problem.
