Version 17.0B Build 18 (Mac 10.15.7)
This bug manifests itself differently depending on whether the clip in question is Audio/Video or Audio-only.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Drag and drop trimmed clip from timeline to media pool
2. Double click clip in media pool to load into source monitor
3. Opt+B to create subclip
Result: If Audio-only, subclip is the full audio clip. If Audio/Video, subclip is full clip and is offline.
Instead, if you match frame the trimmed clip from the timeline straight to the source monitor, focus the source monitor, Opt+B works as expected.
PS: It would be very useful if there was an option one could enable so that dragging from the timeline to the media pool would (batch) create subclips (instead of clips with mark in/out).
