Which format should I choose?

PostSat Dec 26, 2020 11:03 pm

Friends, in what format should the video be output if, at the input I have a large braw file, but I need to crop it and send it to the colorist? Interested in preserving all the information about the color that is stored in braw, so that the colorist then did not experience difficulties with color correction.

If I were the colorist, I would want the RAW file.

Send the original.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Read about offline/online workflow and give the colorist the originals!
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
