Effect to normalise audio level between -6 to -9 db

I am woking with live stream video edit of 60 minute Multi-Cam video shoot. The audio level of wide angel camera is around -30db and the other two mid-shot cameras is around -6db.

I tried normalise audio (true type) in DaVinci Resolve edit page, but still the audio level is not satisfactory and it is not possible to adjust audio level using key-frames, because it will take around one month to edit 10 AV-presentations.

The only option available to me is to import the edited DaVinci project on FCP and apply audio compressor or use analyse and vocal enhance feature of FCP.

Is there is any audio effect tool in Davinci, that will be applied to adjust the sound level between -6 to -9 db ?

Kindly suggest.

Due to COVID-19, the conference stock footage was recorded by Zoom calls.

Which FairlightFX should be used to fix audio problem.

I would suggest trying all the options in the Normalise dialog, as well as reading the relevant section of the User Manual to understand how they work.

My preference would be to Normalize all the tracks to the relevant Loudness Standard.

is it possible to bring to Normalize audio to -9DB, i.e. those sound track above -9DB can be reduced to -9DB and thos below -9DB can be increased.

Even I am trying to bring sound track to uniform level of -9DB.

If there is an option, please reply

It's not an effect. Right-click on the clip and choose "Normalize audio levels" from the dropdown.

The Normalise Audio Level dialog provides two options: Relative and Independent.

Fairlight also has an audio compressor, gate, limiter, and expander.

As others have said the Normalize Audio has two modes, one of which treats all audio clips as if they should be normalized as if a single clip and the other of which treats each audio clip independently.

I think that's the wrong goal, to be honest. These days, Loudness Standards are the norm more so than Peak Levels.

You first compress dynamic range and then normalise to -6dB.
This will give you sort of 1 level at around -6dB (in other words- very small dynamic rage).
You can't really put top/bottom number into this range. If something is very quite you can't raise it to -9dB. End result will be very unnatural.

Good point. It seems that Fairlight's LUFS meter is pretty nice and I've been using it a lot lately. Right now, shooting for -1 peak and -14 LUFS Integrated.

How ?
In present scenario of COVID-19, some time we have to incorporate Zoom call videos in production and the audio quality of zoom call video is very poor due to bandwidth problems.

So I am searching for the audio effect, to improve Zoom call live recorded videos.

When you say "Normalize" most people take it to mean make the maximal level a certain value. Your waveforms can still look very uneven if one of them has a more constant loudness and the other spikes up occasionally. The peaks will be even, but an audio clip that has only a couple of peaks (or maybe just one) will appear lower overall -- and in fact will be lower overall.

If you mean "restrict the audio to be between -6 to -9 dB" that is entirely different, and isn't what most readers will understand you to be asking.

As I mentioned, Fairlight has a Compressor and you should use it just as you suggested that you would use it in Final Cut (I think that's what you mentioned). A compressor can make your waveforms look more alike -- though it may also make some of them sound quite unnatural, and can boost the apparent level of noise in a quiet clip.

Jim pointed out that trying to "normalize" -- i.e. just set the peak -- isn't a good goal, which is what you are also saying, I think. You want to work on the overall loudness level, not just the peaks. Again, you will either use volume keyframes on a section-by-section basis -- which you've ruled out due to the large amount of audio -- or you'll use the Compressor. There are specialized plugins that can be bought that will essentially adjust volume levels on a section-by-section basis if you feel you need that.

Fairlight has a nice LUFS meter where you can see True Peak and you can see Integrated LUFS and from what I understand the goal is to have the True Peak not exceed some level (say -1) and to also have the Integrated LUFS near a target. (In the case of Youtube, 14 LUFS I believe.)

That is a separate question unrelated to Normalization and levels, and quite honestly, may not be possible. You can't make a YouTube 240 download look like 4K. Very often, you have to start with decent media to make a decent product.

In addition, there's this:
