Audio bugs when putting a timeline in another one

PostSun Dec 27, 2020 7:59 am

I have inserted a timeline in another one. I have small audio portions (less than a second) that repeats themselves. It happens randomly every few seconds and every portion affected repeat one time. When it repeats, it "overwrite" the audio that should be there. So, after the repeat, the audio and video stays in sync. The video doesn't repeat itself. All that happens during playback and export. It makes timeline in timeline totally unusable.

System spec? viewtopic.php?f=21&t=90190

Is this behaviour evident on the Edit or Fairlight pages (or both)?
Fairlight Studio Console 3 Bay • Merging Hapi • Anubis • Merging Premium VAD (3.4.0) ↔︎ Lawo VSC (1.0.0)
Mac Pro 7,1 Rack • Resolve Studio 19.1.3 • macOS 14.7.3 (23H417) ➩ 11" iPad Pro (M4) 1TB • iPadOS 18.3 (22D63)

It's a bug, has been reported by other users in these threads:

Assuming Resolve 17 beta 6.

Is the behaviour identical across Fixed and Flexi Bus Projects?

This option is grayed out. The use fixed bus mapping checkbox is not checked.

The checkbox is only enabled with new Projects and empty Timelines
(same behaviour as the Timeline Frame Rate).

The default for new Projects in version 17 is Flexi Bus (i.e. "Use Fixed Bus Mapping" is disabled).

I created a new projec, selected the "use fixed mapping" checkbox, and made the test. Same problem.
