17.0b Build 18 - Edit Mode - Timeline freezes

PostSun Dec 27, 2020 8:50 am

Greetings!

I'm working on a new project and need to use the Edit mode for some stuff. But after some steps, it seems, my timeline is freezing. I can click on stuff, but I cannot see, which clip I marked and what I am actually doing. So it feels like when you took a screenshot of the timeline and put it as a layer on top of the actual timeline section - and you are working underneath it. The playback window is working normally though.

I'd love to switch back to the stable DVR 16 version, but it seems like the DBs are not compatible.

Has anyone else the same problem?

Thank you for your time!

I've seen timeline freezes in b6 when jumping around my 90 minute timeline.

I went back to Build 9, this one seems the most stable for me and hasn't had any crashes/freezes on my 30 minute timeline.

Haven't had any Edit page freezes in any of the Studio 17 betas for Windows.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
