Changing TL resolution did not applied to Imported TL

PostMon Dec 28, 2020 9:44 pm

Project in 1080p then imported TL from different 1080p project.
Change TL resolution to 4K.
Imported TL stays in 1080p and you get upscale warning at Render.

Workaround:
Create new TL and Copy/Paste from imported TL. All footage will be 4k.
(But audio FX on audio channel did not copied)

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

1080p project was done by set in timeline properties (gear icon on bottom right).
Same way it was changed to 2160p (gear icon on bottom right).

OK.

You changed the Project Settings. That won't change existing timelines. You'll have to go into Timeline Settings for that timeline to do that.
