DR 17 Beta Build 18 - Cannot Change Cache Locations?

PostTue Dec 29, 2020 2:05 am

I think I found a new bug in Build 18, for some reason I cannot change the cache locations and have them save as a preset. I have tried 3x now and it just reverts back to the C:\ drive and I discovered it the hard way when I ran out of space on the C:\ drive.

Repro Steps
1. Open DR > Click the gear icon in the lower right corner
2. Go to Master Settings > Working Folders
3. Change the proxy generation location, Cache files location, and Gallery stills location

4. Go to Presets > Save As > Apply > "NewPreset" > OK
5. Highlight the "NewPreset" preset > Load
6. Go back to Master Settings
7. As you can see in the screenshot below, the Working Folders reverts back to the C:\ drive

Did you save your project after you made the change?

Yes, I saved the project and it did not make a difference, it does not save the changed locations.

Make sure G: is the first drive listed under Preferences>System>Media Storage.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

It is, been that way since version 16, I haven't changed anything except the version and now it is not working.
