Fairlight - extreme plugin GUI slowness

Running DVR v17b6,

44.1kHz timeline, one track, one clip, all very simple.

Certain plugins instantiated on the clip are unusable when audio is playing, changes to the GUI controls either lag significantly making any real adjustment impossible, or do not change at all with user input.

The plugins I've found showing this behaviour so far are both from Softtube (Tube-Tech CL 1B Mk II & Weiss MM-1), not sure if their plugins are resource-intensive or not, but did notice the problem changing settings while listening to audio playback.

I tried with both AU and VST versions, no discernible difference. The info panel says they are using OpenGL graphics.

So far, AU and VST plugins from Plugin-Alliance, Izotope, Exponential, flux all seem to be behaving normally.

That may be the issue since Flux just recently corrected the behaviour of their plugins which also used OpenGL.

macOS has deprecated OpenGL.

Ok. I'll have a look at Softtubes site and see if they have an update in the works.

I disabled OpenGL and things improved. Still sluggish plugin GUI response, but much more usable. I know they are working on Bug Sir compatibility, I'll let them know about this issue under Catalina.
