If it works for you, that's fine. You'll have to remap things in your head when you're trying to tell someone else what to do or you want to follow a tutorial, of course, since you'll be using a different shortcut than anyone else.
Also, 's' may be used for something already, so you'd have to remap that to another key combination (maybe alt-s) or lose the ability to do it via a keystroke.
If you buy a control surface of some kind that comes programmed for Davinci Resolve, you'll have to manually change its programming to match your new shortcut as well. But if you're working fast and efficiently with 's' every day, that's still a big win for you.
