Insert Clips To Timeline From Media Page

I would like to be able to start my project in the Media Page by populating the page with my clips.

Once all my clips are on the Media Page I would like to go through them and insert them to the Edit Page Timeline in the proper order for the video. After I have selected all my clips I should be able to open the Edit Page and find all the clips on the timeline waiting for the various effects, transitions and colour grading. Is this at all possible? I know I can do all this from the Edit Page but this would require me to expand the Media Pool so I can view the large thumbnails to insert them to the Timeline. I can live with that but would prefer to select and perhaps even organize the clips in order from within the Media Page.

Please let me know if this is at all possible or perhaps a nice request? Thanks

Editing is done from the Cut or Edit pages.

If you can work out a sorting method in the Media Pool that works for the order you need to assemble the clips, you can select all the clips and right click to reveal the "Create new timeline using selected clips" option.

Thanks, I know what you are saying. This would require me to rename each clip.
Would be nice to move around the clips (Click and drag) and squeeze them into a story line line and then send them to edit timeline. What I love about the Media Page are the LARGE Thumbnail size of the clips.

I have a large Dell 38 Inch widescreen monitor but I still feel I don't have enough screen size.

I may just get another monitor and use is as the source monitor to free up space to enlrage the Media Pool in the Edit Page.

Happy New Year!
