cannot use transistion on clips with different frame rate

PostSun Dec 27, 2020 11:44 pm

Beta 17.6
I cannot put transistions on clips with different frame rates (e.g. 24 and 30 frames).
I drag the transistion to the area between the clips, but it is not "recognised".
Clips with the same frame rate work fine.

With version 16 it still worked.
Is this known?

There's actually a new forum for version 17 that we're supposed to use.

Both clips have sufficient handles?

I tried a 23.976 clip followed by a 29.97 clip in a 23.976 timeline and the transition worked without issue.

Studio 17b6 for Windows.

The zip file for my example project is too big, I can't upload it (75 MB), I will try to reduce it.

But there are 2 screenshots added, 2 clips with different framerate (and the second one is also cut).
Transistion is not possible for the different clips, but it is for the two parts of the one clip.

Yes, I now also believe that it is not an error in Resolve.
But what could be the cause?
And it is a bit of a nuisance after all.

And yes, I am still working with the Free version.
I have already ordered the Studio version as a bundle with the Speed Editor, but the delivery time in Germany is 8 - 10 weeks. :(
