Username confusion with install
Windows 10 changed me from Users\Username to Users\Username-Computername.
It won't let me delete the Users\Username folder. Just recreates it.
Resolve installs to Users\Username. (Even though I am Users\Username-Computername.)
But Resolve writes nothing to that folder because it doesn't have access rights. (Even though I give Everyone full access.) Can't change work folders in Project Settings because it needs access to stuff that doesn't exist.
Resolve does not appear on the Start Menu. I can't uninstall it because it doesn't exist.
There is no uninstall file.
Tried running the installation file as administrator, but it says a higher version already exists, and I must uninstall that. There is not a higher version on my PC, only this version. And anyway, only the DaVinci Control Panels show up in the list of Programs and Features.
Any suggestions.
PS I had a similar problem with Spitfire Audio, but that at least successfully wrote to User\Username, so I could copy the relevant AppData files to User\Username-Computername
