Database issue

PostSun Dec 27, 2020 6:27 pm

Hello everybody,

I am new to DaVinci. Premiere user and want to migrate to DaVinci.

My computer has a RAID where I use as media store and Premirere Projetcs. Everything goes there. Now I create a folder to DaVinci database.

My doubt is:

Should I make one Database for each project? Or should I have one Database for all my DaVinci projetcs?

Thanks a lot.

There's no one method that works best for everyone, so it's really editor's choice here.

I have my own company as well as freelance for other companies, so I make a Database for each company.

Others make a new Database for each year.

You can make a Database for each type of project.

Use what works best for your needs.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
