Problem with Superimposing

PostThu Dec 31, 2020 12:37 am

Hello,
I have a clip, where I superimpose a fireworks.
The problem is, the firework is in the foreground.
Is there any way simple way to put it in the background other than masking the foreground?
I place the fireworks above the main video and below the main video. Both showed the fireworks is "leaking" into the main video clip. I tried "add" and "screen" they both do the same.

Thank you for a suggestion.

You do need to use masking of the foreground.

I happened to do that with BorisFX last year. Works very well with the integrated Mocha for masking.

How can your software know where the foreground ends?

You may be able to use a luminance mask if there is only the sky to be masked.
