Zooming timeline at the cursor or the playhead

PostWed Dec 30, 2020 11:42 pm

Hi,

The Resolve 17 beta release notes mentions a new feature as follows:

"Support to optionally zoom timeline at the cursor or the playhead"

I am very interested in being able to alt-scrollwheel and have the timeline follow my mouse position, rather than the playhead, and it sounds like this feature is that wish being granted.

Trouble is, I can't for the life of me figure out where to toggle this feature. Does anyone know please?

Thanks,
Craig

My apologies - on further study of the menus, I found my own answer:

View -> Zoom Around Mouse Pointer

Hopefully this topic is useful for someone else though - since there is no manual for 17 beta yet.

Cheers,
Craig
