Splitter/combiner nodes not splitting channels for sizing

PostThu Dec 31, 2020 7:09 am

I am trying the splitter/combiner node function for the first time to shift colors back into position on digitized VHS tapes. I add the splitter/combiner node and I get the splitter, three channel nodes, and the combiner as I should. But, when I use Pan in Sizing on the red node, the whole image moves instead of just the red channel. Same results with the other channels. Any idea why each color node is not just affecting that color?

I've tried this with a variety of projects and get the same results.

I initially thought that color adjustments weren't working properly. Color adjustments are limited to just the selected red, green, or blue node as they should be.

Thanks,
Steve

you have to use [node sizing] for that node only, if you use the normal input sizing, you will move the whole image.

Thanks! Totally missed that. It's 2:30 AM. I guess this is an indication I should stop working.
