I use Adobe's InDesign, and Photoshop to create photo books. Once a TIFF file is placed into a InDesign project, if I edit it in Photoshop, that edit is reflected in the layout design of the book. When doing video projects and editing photographs that have been imported into a Resolve project, they need to be reimported to reflect any changes that have been made. It would be wonderful if Resolve was able to link to those files and recognize any edits that were made to them.

Changes made to media files are reflected in Resolve. (Unless they're Cached, or Optimized, or Proxies.)
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
