"Reload footage" option
I work with a lot of CG footage and those have a lot of iterations and Resolve still refuses to load any updates to them.
workflow:
1) Render a few shots as EXR sequences
2) make edit in resolve, some with reFusion effects
3) notice I make a render mistake (forgot to turn a light on or something)
4) render an new EXR sequence again
5) Resolve still shows old version.
And before anyone mentions 'you should be using a new version number for any updates to the CG and relink that'.. That's generating a lot of extra work for something that is a single click in most other software. And I'm not talking 'client versions' here which could be nice to keep, it's just bugged renders that are being redone.
The only way I can get it to update is to drop then entire render cache for the whole project, that's quite a waste since it has to rebuild a lot. So a simple right click on footage with 'reload' would help a lot!
And inside reFusion it looks like it does updates automatically most of the time, just resolve never got the hint things changed. And I'm not looking for an automatic detection that can fail, just a simple manual 'reload footage' that force reloads it even if Resolve thinks it's up to date.
