Migrating from free to studio version DL'ed from App Store
After using the free version of Resolve for several weeks and creating a dozen projects I decided to upgrade to the studio version, doing so by purchasing Resolve Studio from the Mac app store. The application downloaded fine, and appeared in my Application folder alongside the free version.
However, upon launching the studio version I have an empty project window. I suppose I'd expected the studio version to recognize the presence of the free database and ask if I wanted to migrate/update this database into the studio version. I can still launch the free version and see my existing projects, but I'm note sure how to properly move everything over to the studio version in a seamless manner. Neither manual really covers migrating from free to studio, as far as I can tell.
I've searched through the forums and have read about USB dongles and activation codes, but having purchased Studio through the app store, I have neither.
Can anyone point me to the steps one must take to migrate the free database to the studio database on a version of Resolve Studio purchased through the app store?
Thanks!
