Not Responding - adding clips to Bin

1) In the media tab I did a search for all clips (in bins) with a date of "Mar 10 2018"

2) selected all clips

3) right click added to new Bin or move to a bin by dragging

4) DaVinci Resolve Studio Not Responding

it is still saying Not Responding so I am going to have to End Task on this (45 minutes later)

I have now used a Smart Bin which works fine

EDIT

But the smart bin will not work in the cut page.

So I then had to copy all clips from the smart bin into a normal bin. This time it did allow me to do this without Davinci Not Responding

What a strange workaround???
